Event organiser ‘Hahndorf Town Band’ wishes to announce that the ‘2020 Hahndorf Band Festival’ has been postponed until further notice.
Wednesday 18 March 2020, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced new measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.
Australia is now on high alert, attempting to prevent the rapid spread of the virus and keep as many people as safe as possible. That includes, for us our participating bands, musicians, and our audience to whom we provide musical performance.
Our organising committee will continue to monitor the situation, and the government advice in coming months, to see if there is an opportunity to hold our event later this year.
