Songs of Praise – An SES Fundraiser

Join us for an afternoon concert of hymns, sacred music and some popular tunes you never thought you’d hear played by a Brass Band in an Anglican Church! (Relax though, there’ll be no singing!)
Entry is by donation, as ALL proceeds of this concert will be going to the work the Campbelltown SES do – so please spread the word far and wide, as we’d love to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful organisation.
A bit more about who they are and what they do is below (taken from their website here):
“The South Australian State Emergency Service (SASES) is a volunteer-based emergency assistance and rescue service. We provide emergency assistance to the people of South Australia 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We respond to thousands of calls for assistance from the South Australian community each year. Our volunteers have saved the lives and property of countless South Australians.
We respond to:
• Extreme weather events – floods, storms, and heatwaves
• Road crashes
• Marine, swiftwater, vertical and confined space rescues.
We assist South Australia Police (SAPOL) in land search operations and traffic management.
We support the South Australia Country Fire Service (CFS) during major bushfires.
The SES do a magnificent job in the local and wider community, assisting with storm & flood damage, road crash rescues and hazardous materials incidents.”
