Campbelltown City Band has had a long association with the Payneham RSL and has provided music for the Anzac Day services for many years. Remembrance Day usually falls on a week day so the RSL used recorded music until the last few years when it was realised that Campbelltown could rustle up a goodly number of players for any such service. This year the 11th of November fell on a Sunday so most of the band was able to attend. The band was conducted by Deputy Musical Director, Chris Brockhouse.

While musically this service is quite simple it is a high profile community event for which the band is honoured to be able to assist.

The Last Post was played by Tracy Venning from Payneham Concert Band whom we are delighted to welcome back to Campbelltown as well.
